The original reason why we started this site was for a platform for poker software that we were working on. We expect to be bringing you the first of our exciting product range very shortly. The nature of which we have to keep under wraps until it is released but believe me Poker players are going to like what we do and it will give you a major advantage over your opposition.

What gives our software the edge is down firstly to the creators of this software, unlike some other poker software creators who are primarily programmers. We are poker players firstly so we know exactly what we want to see in our software and what can give us the jump on our opponents. We are not just poker players and programmers however I myself the editor of this site have also a degree in Mathematics and Statistics so you can be assured that the data you get from our software is highly accurate and is the type of information you the poker player wants to see.

In case you think we assume too much and as ever in our efforts to make firbolg a place where poker players feel at home we welcome opinions from the poker playing community as to new things they would like to see in our software and we will take opinions on board.

Most of our software was done on the recent Microsoft .NET Framework - to be frank there is an upside and downside to this, the downside is that this is a recent platform for software development meaning it's not installed on the vast majority of pcs, though we would expect that it will be automatic part of the windows operating system in future windows products. The .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package needs to be downloaded from Microsoft and can currently be found at this url http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/. Their is one major upside to this development platform, it is in tune better than any development platform with the Microsoft operating system, therefore we will be bringing you software that can achieve results that would be much more difficult if not impossible with other development platforms.

We expect to have our first product available early in the New Year.
