Bob Ciaffone Improve Your Poker
The 2nd book I read from Bob and I have to say of all the writers I have enjoyed reading Bob's two books the most, now maybe this is because I got all the theory stuff from the likes of Mason and Sklansky and this is all great but Bob's writing is more conducive to training your mind to the flow of the game, of the top poker players who have taken up writing he stands out by a mile.
This book mostly covers Limit and no Limit Hold'Em and pot limit Omaha.
This book comprises a series of articles that get you thinking about your game, it's not really suitable for a raw beginner, it's more for the intermediate to advanced player looking to get the most from their game, I count this as a very valuable read in what I might call my post Sklansky search for that little bit extra, the way Bob presents stuff gets you into the mindset and feel of what to do in the heat of battle, after reading this I feel it has helped me in making a higher proportion of right decisions facing me online. Also Bob's overall view of how to approach poker and gambling in general is the most accurate and refreshingly honest I have come across.
